We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our Shine team, where you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families affected by family violence. You will work closely with clients to ensure they can achieve and maintain safety, including access to basic needs such as food, learning, employment, and equitable services.

Your Role

In this role, you will:

  • Provide individualized support to clients to help them achieve and maintain safety;
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to provide comprehensive support to clients;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and community partners;
  • Participate in on-call rosters and work outside of hours from time to time (which will be compensated accordingly).
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Social Work or a related field;
  • Experience working in the family violence sector;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
