About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Waikato Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide evidence-based medical nutrition therapy and education to our diverse patient population.

Job Description

You will work closely with health professionals across the Waikato region, developing your skills in a supportive environment while making a meaningful impact on patient care. This role offers opportunities to work across acute, outpatient, and community settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • New Zealand Dietitians Board registration and current annual practicing certificate (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Dietitians Prescriber status (or working towards)
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to work autonomously
  • Experience in renal, critical care and/or paediatrics is desired
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong team focus
  • A full clean New Zealand driver's license
  • Cultural competence and a commitment to cultural safety and equity: Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application in healthcare.
