The Opportunity

We are currently seeking passionate Healthcare Tutors with industry experience to join our teaching team. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of healthcare professionals and will involve teaching our Level 7 programmes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare and a dedication to mentoring and inspiring the next generation of healthcare students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver courses using effective and engaging teaching methods and materials appropriate to the students and course content.
  • Design and develop course content and assessments as per NZQA standards.
  • Ensure all assessments, including tests, are completed as per the requirements of the course.
  • Engage with industry stakeholders, organise guest speakers, and internships.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in teaching at a tertiary level in Healthcare.
  • Minimum of a Master's qualification.
  • Teaching experience in New Zealand preferred within a PTE setting.
  • Experience with using assessment, evaluation, and review processes to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
