We are seeking a highly skilled clinical leader to join our team as a Consultant Psychiatrist in Older Person Mental Health. This role will involve working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to provide clinical leadership and mental health services to individuals aged 65 and above in the Canterbury region.
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced psychiatrist to lead our team of ten psychiatrists. The successful applicant will have a current Practising Certificate with vocational registration as a Psychiatrist and hold a specialist qualification in Psychiatry recognized by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
The ideal candidate will have a sub-specialty qualification in Psychiatry of Old Age or extensive experience in this area of practice. They will be expected to work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement mental health services that meet the needs of older adults in our community.
