About The RoleWe're seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our People and Culture team at Downer Transport & Infrastructure. As a key member of our HR advisory service delivery team, you'll provide expert guidance and support to line managers and supervisors across New Zealand, helping them navigate complex employment-related processes effectively.
This role offers excellent exposure across all aspects of employee relations, including disciplinary procedures, performance management, medical incapacity, and employment investigations. If you're passionate about enhancing your capabilities in these areas and eager to make a meaningful impact, this opportunity is perfect for you.
In this position, you'll work closely with our wider People & Culture team to ensure seamless workflow management and utilize online tracking tools for real-time task visibility and escalating complex matters as needed.
Responsibilities:- Supporting managers in employment-related processes, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Responding to HR queries, providing expert guidance, and offering practical solutions.
- Preparing employment-related documentation, including policies and procedures, to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborating with our People & Culture Business Partners to maintain consistency, share insights, and support proactive P&C projects and change initiatives.
