We're seeking a highly skilled AML Compliance Specialist to join our team at Rabobank Gruppe. As a key player in our Transaction Monitoring Team, you'll be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into customer transactions, identifying potential suspicious activities, and preparing Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU).
Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities- Triage and assess Transaction Monitoring alerts for any potential red flags or unusual behaviour.
- Conduct complex and/or high risk customer transaction monitoring investigations for Rabobank Online Savings and Country Banking business lines within Rabobank New Zealand.
- Review and escalate any potentially suspicious activity to the Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) for determination of suspicion or not.
- Submit a Suspicious Activity Report/Suspicious Transaction Report to the Financial Intelligence Unit if grounds for suspicions are confirmed by FCC.
You'll also be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for alert handling and investigations, and alert narrative quality requirements.
