We are seeking a dedicated individual to support people with intellectual disabilities living in their own homes to achieve their goals and aspirations. As a Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with our Supported Living Team to provide person-centered care and support.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and possess excellent communication skills. You will be comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on building positive relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily living support to clients, including assistance with cooking, cleaning, and budgeting
  • Help clients maintain social connections and engage in community activities
  • Assist clients in developing and achieving their personal goals
  • Work collaboratively with the Supported Living Team to ensure comprehensive support is provided to clients

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • A Full NZ drivers' licence
