Operations Manager - Wiri Distribution Centers
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of Wiri distribution centers (DC). This key leadership role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient running of DC processes, including inbound logistics, inventory management, dispatching, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Quality: Promote a culture of safety first in all warehouses and ensure adherence to Cardinal's Health & Safety practices. Ensure continuous quality improvement and stabilization of processes.
- Operational Performance: Oversee container scheduling, devanning, inwards receipting, warehouse management, and freight management. Drive performance improvements by managing KPIs.
- Strategic Planning: Plan and implement strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency across all operations.
- Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment. Use data to identify and drive improvements.
- People Development: Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff while fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- At least 10 years of experience in the 3PL industry, with a proven track record in warehouse operations management.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven expertise in project implementation, lean operations, and resource modeling.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
