The Wooing Tree vineyard is a premium establishment located in Central Otago. We are seeking a highly skilled Sous Chef to join our team and support the kitchen during service. This role will involve covering the head chef's days off and supervising a team of 5 staff members.

A key aspect of this position will be mentoring and training staff to maintain high standards. Open communication and sharing knowledge are essential skills for this role. Our menu features fresh, seasonal products sourced locally, with a focus on a la carte and platters during lunch and dinner. The successful candidate will have experience with menu development and costing.

We are looking for someone with a passion for food and presentation, excellent energy levels, and a desire to learn and develop professionally. Previous experience as a Sous Chef is desirable, but we also welcome applications from senior CDPs or junior Sous chefs with relevant experience.
