As a Senior Project Manager with Auckland Council's Healthy Waters & Flood Resilience department, you will be responsible for leading the planning, design and construction of stormwater-related infrastructure projects. This includes collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop project briefs and business cases, procuring and managing external suppliers and internal specialists, and acting as a liaison between the council and various stakeholders.

Your role will require a high level of expertise in project management, with a strong focus on safety, quality and risk management. You will need to have a sound understanding of contract and administration management, as well as experience in similar project management or engineering roles. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil and/or Environmental) or equivalent experience is required, along with membership in a relevant professional body or progress toward full membership.

In addition, you will need to have site safety and safety in design experience, minimum 7+ years' experience in three waters infrastructure sector, with 2 years in stormwater delivery. Familiarity with local government and political environments is also essential.
