Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and self-motivated individual to join our Port Protection team as a Casual Port Protection Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing various security, marine, customer services, and safety duties associated with the day-to-day running of our gatehouse.

Key Tasks
  • Provide customer service to visitors entering the Port
  • Maintain security measures and provide security response as required
  • Undertake regular safety and security inspections/audits of our Port facilities
  • Support Marine with duties such as harbour traffic control, ship movement scheduling, and liaising with shipping agents
Essential Requirements
  • A strong commitment to Health & Safety
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people
  • Proven customer service experience and strong interpersonal skills
