Rocket Lab USA is a leading space systems company that enables ambitious and vital space missions. Our Electron rocket has provided reliable access to orbit since 2018, making us one of the most frequently launched rockets in the world.
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer I to join our Neutron team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components for our new large rocket, Neutron.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop mechanical components for Neutron, including structural, mechanical, and fluid systems.
- Work closely with analysis and manufacturing engineers to produce concepts, detailed designs, and drawing packages for metallic and composites components & assemblies.
- Perform development & qualification tests, refine designs, and ensure Neutron's materials, components, and assemblies meet their functional and performance requirements.
