Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team at Tangram. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our fleet of heavy machinery, including CAT haulage trucks, utility vehicles, and load shifting equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to health and safety, a minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience in an engineering trade, and experience working on a range of heavy equipment.

Responsibilities
The Heavy Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for the following tasks:
* Maintaining and repairing heavy machinery
* Performing routine maintenance checks and repairs
* Identifying and addressing any issues or problems with equipment
* Collaborating with other teams to ensure smooth operation of the mine
* Possessing a strong commitment to health and safety and adhering to all relevant regulations and protocols

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and experience:
* Trade qualification in Heavy plant AUS/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
* Experience working on CAT Haul trucks 777 & 789, CAT Dozers D6 – D10, CAT 16H Graders, Komatsu, Hitachi & Liebherr excavators (including PC4000 & 9400)
* Full Class 1 NZ driver's licence
* Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience in an engineering trade
* Strong commitment to health and safety
