About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Territory Manager to join our team in Auckland. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales and profitability by building strong relationships with distributors, their customers, and direct OEM accounts within their assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations by following safe work procedures and educating customers on product use.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets and grow market share to ensure business profitability.
  • Monitor distributor and direct account performance, identifying new business opportunities and increasing product sales with both new and existing customers.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and internal stakeholders to offer guidance on product application, selection, and process optimization.
  • Maintain and develop technical knowledge of product application techniques and equipment, positioning the company as a market leader in the OEM and Refinish sector.
  • Conduct training for distributors and staff, promoting the adoption of best practices.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide competitor insights when needed.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification in the Refinish industry is highly desirable.
  • Practical experience with products is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Experience with competitor products is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated sales experience with a strong customer-centric approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
