We are seeking an experienced Nurse Midwife to join our team at Te Whatu Ora Taranaki, where you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality patient care. **Our Maternity Services:**

Te Whatu Ora Taranaki offers a range of maternity services, including:

  • A secondary maternity unit located in Taranaki Base Hospital in New Plymouth
  • A primary birthing unit located in Hawera

**Your Role:**

You will be responsible for providing holistic maternity care to our patients, including antenatal, birthing, and postnatal support. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues will be essential in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.

**Requirements:**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current registration with the Midwifery Council
  • One year postgraduate experience (New Graduates welcome to apply)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work rostered shifts in all areas of the maternity service
