We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Specialist to join our world-class Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT). As a key member of the team, you will play a hands-on role in monitoring, analysing, and responding to cyber threats that target our critical systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Maintain a high level of situational awareness to quickly identify and respond to emerging threats">
  • Analyse and investigate security incidents to determine root cause and recommend remediation actions">
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration">
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving threats and develop strategies to mitigate risk">
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure seamless incident response and resolution">

Requirements

">
  • ">
  • 3+ years of experience in technology, with a strong understanding of infrastructure or application environments">
  • 2+ years in a dedicated security role, ideally within a CSIRT or SOC">
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM tools, endpoint detection platforms, malware analysis or similar technologies">
  • Familiarity with threat frameworks and attack methodologies (e.g. MITRE ATT&CK)">
  • A collaborative attitude and a desire to grow your knowledge in a supportive team environment">
  • Active engagement in the security community (e.g. SANS, NZISF, NZITF, ISIG, FSIE)">
