About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in New Zealand and Australia. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality designs for primary and substation projects.

About You

You have a solid understanding of electrical systems and a proven track record of leading complex projects. Your experience in delivering high-voltage substation designs is essential, as well as your ability to guide others and ensure quality and accuracy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements
  • Design and deliver high-voltage substation projects that meet client expectations
  • Mentor and coach junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Professional registration with relevant engineering boards (e.g., NZCEng)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a design or consulting role
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high-voltage and extra-high voltage transmission lines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
