Our facilities include:
- Christchurch Women's Hospital
- Hillmorton Hospital and the Princes Margaret Hospital - Mental Health Services
- Burwood Hospital - Older Persons Health and Rehabilitation Services, including the Spinal Injuries Unit
- Ashburton Hospital - General Hospital, south of Christchurch
You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working together to provide comprehensive care to our patients. With a strong emphasis on teamwork and communication, we strive to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Registrar to join our Internal Medicine department. You will work in a rotational position, gaining experience in General Medicine, Older Persons Health, Medical Relief & Specialties.
- Full-time position, starting in 2025.
- Flexible with start dates.
- Multiple positions available.
Your skills and qualifications
- Completed PGY2 year or equivalent.
- Experience in a number of hospital departments.
- Knowledge and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how the principles can be applied to health.
- A willingness to grow and further develop an equity lens and skillset, both to assist Māori and minority groups.
- Must be eligible for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
