Job Description

As a Senior Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, servicing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems. Your key duties will include:

  • Leading the installation, programming, and commissioning of fire alarm systems.
  • Conducting inspections and testing of fire safety systems in compliance with industry standards.
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults in fire alarm systems and related components.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.
  • Managing client relationships and ensuring high standards of customer service.
  • Collaborating with the team to meet project deadlines and service requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Fire Alarm Technician, with a strong background in fire alarm systems.
  • A thorough understanding of fire protection systems, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Proven experience in leading projects and mentoring a team of technicians.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong customer service orientation and the ability to build positive client relationships.
  • A high standard of health and safety practices.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certification in relevant fire alarm and safety systems is a bonus.
