Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Junior School Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, designing culturally responsive lessons, and creating a safe and positive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach Across the Junior Curriculum: Deliver engaging lessons that spark curiosity and achievement in our junior students.
  • Design Inclusive Lessons: Create inclusive and culturally responsive lessons that cater to diverse learners' needs.
  • Establish a Safe Environment: Foster a safe and positive environment that supports student well-being and encourages social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with Staff: Work collaboratively with staff on school-wide initiatives to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements
  • A New Zealand registered teacher with a current Practising Certificate.
  • Experience teaching junior students (Year 9 and 10) and a deep understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum.
  • A commitment to honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi and Māori achieving as Māori.
  • A collaborative, adaptable team player with a growth mindset and a passion for student success.
