The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to join our team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality building consultancy services to our clients, including conducting building surveys, managing inspection programs, and advising on property and construction matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive building surveys and prepare detailed reports
  • Oversight of building inspection programs to ensure compliance and quality
  • Expert guidance on property and construction issues, including dilapidations, defects, and repairs
  • Client support throughout project lifecycle, from inception to completion
  • Tender and contract negotiation, procurement of services
  • Adherence to building regulations and legal requirements
  • Collaboration with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes
  • Development and mentoring of junior surveyors within the team

Requirements

A degree in Building Surveying, Construction, or related field is necessary. Proven experience as a (Senior) Building Surveyor, with a strong portfolio of completed projects, is highly desirable. MRICS Chartered status is essential to sign off work. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team are also required.
