As a Community Support Officer at SPCA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the welfare of animals in our community.
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be physically fit and able to work independently in the field.
The role involves responding to enquiries from members of the public, triaging and coordinating animal emergencies, providing animal transport and assisting with administration tasks.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a current Auxiliary Officer License or be willing to gain one. You will also need experience within animal welfare and/or extensive animal handling in a previous role.
In addition to your skills and qualifications, we value high personal standards and process drive in our team members.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the well-being of animals in need and promote animal welfare across New Zealand.
