**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our Biochemistry team as an IT Technical Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our IT systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. You will work closely with the team to deliver a high-quality laboratory service that meets the needs of our patients.

**Key Responsibilities:** Your duties will include maintaining our IT systems, including Delphic, Roche Infinity, and associated standard operating procedures. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will work collaboratively with the team to achieve our goals and objectives.

**Requirements:** To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 5 years of experience in a large Biochemistry department. You should have experience with Roche analysers, Infinity & Delphic systems, and hold a current APC with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand. Strong leadership skills and a passion for IT are essential for this role.
