This is a senior management position within the Clinical & Operational Support Directorate at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton. As the district-wide operational leader for Nutrition and Food Services, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food production, service, and distribution to patients' bedsides. You will also manage the main staff café and four food and beverage outlets on campus, generating revenue through sales to staff and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide operational leadership and accountability for Nutrition and Food Services across the district.
2. Support clinical services in delivering patient-centered care by developing menus and managing meal production and distribution.
3. Manage the main staff café and four food and beverage outlets on campus, aiming to generate revenue through sales to staff and visitors.
4. Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with clinicians and other stakeholders to ensure effective change management.
