About The Role This role is critical in ensuring our factory operates efficiently and meets production targets. You will be responsible for identifying improvements, conducting root cause analysis, performing both reactive and preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with administrative processes in our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation of maintenance activities using the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Perform root cause analysis to address shop floor issues and implement corrective actions.
- Provide support to the maintenance of site services and drive improvements in environmental systems.
- Maintain and enhance company quality systems through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and maintain quality systems, including SA documents, Job Breakdown Guides, and internal audits.
About You We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience in manufacturing environments. Key Skills & Experience:
Requirements
- Level 4 Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar maintenance engineering role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (or other CAD software) and mechanical design.
- Strong mechanical engineering skills, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies and techniques.
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles.
- Strong computer skills, including CMMS and technical documentation.
- Competency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
