This is an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Puāwai rehabilitation unit. As a member of our team, you will be working with patients who have complex and challenging rehabilitation needs, including those with stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions.
About Our Team
We are a dynamic and interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals who work together to provide high-quality care to our patients. Our team includes physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech language therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care.
Your Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs and developing individualised treatment plans
- Designing and delivering cognitive rehabilitation, psychological support, and behavioural support interventions
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve patient outcomes
- Providing ongoing professional development and education to colleagues
