At Waikatodhbnewsroom, we are seeking an exceptional Ultrasound Specialist to join our Cardiology Service. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality cardiac ultrasound procedures, ensuring patient safety and care.
About the Role
We aim to improve the quality of life of people facing risk factors for heart disease and with existing heart conditions. Our team strives to educate patients and their whānau about their heart condition and empower them to manage it through self-care.
As a Medical Imaging Professional, you will work closely with Cardiologists and Senior Sonographers to provide comprehensive patient care. Your excellent communication skills and ability to work in stressful situations will enable you to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- An internationally recognised qualification in Cardiac Ultrasound
- Registration with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board (or eligibility for registration)
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in stressful situations
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of post-graduate experience working as a Cardiac Sonographer. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative team environment, we encourage you to apply.
