Job Summary

This exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Engineering leader to drive innovation and operational excellence at Vitaco Group. As Capital Project Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage our capital investment projects, ensuring strategic development and implementation of innovative engineering solutions.

The successful candidate will oversee projects from feasibility through to execution, working with internal teams and external contractors to deliver world-class manufacturing outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

">

This role will be responsible for leading all engineering aspects of Operational Capital Investment Projects, from feasibility through to start-up for new equipment, processes, procedures, and systems.

  • ">
  • Developing and executing long-term strategic capital investment plans, aligned with Vitaco Group's business objectives">
  • Scoping, designing, and costing operational capital investment projects for approval">
  • Managing projects from feasibility to implementation, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to budget">
  • Leading a small group of talented Project Engineers to deliver capital projects across operations">
  • Overseeing installation and commissioning of capital projects while minimizing disruption to operations">
  • Identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency">

Requirements

">

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • ">
  • 10+ years of experience in food and/or supplement manufacturing processes and equipment">
  • 5+ years of project management experience, ideally in capital investment projects">
  • Proven manufacturing design, installation, and commissioning experience">
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills, with experience in contract negotiation and expense management">
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Microsoft Office">
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills">
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations relevant to the manufacturing industry">
  • A strong track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and to budget">
