About Us

The University of Otago's Transformation and Improvement team is dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that drive organisational excellence. We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team, providing administrative support to project managers and teams across the university.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively monitor project progress, proactively addressing any potential risks and issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time.
  • Manage project management tools and software, updating and maintaining project information throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Schedule and coordinate project meetings, capturing actions, and updating project management software to ensure clear and organised records.

Requirements

  • Well-organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise.
  • Proven ability to work with budgets.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong administrative background with high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

About the Role

This is a full-time, fixed-term position located in Dunedin. The appointee will have a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of university projects. We offer a competitive salary, 5 weeks' annual leave (pro rata), and the opportunity to achieve real work/life balance.
