The Position

We are seeking a Primary Teacher to join our team at BestStart Kaikohe. In this role, you'll work collaboratively with the Over 2's teaching team to plan and implement child-led curriculum, extending on children's learning and interests.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementing engaging learning experiences for children aged 3.5-5 years.
  • Working closely with the teaching team to achieve outstanding results in education.
  • Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • B Ed/Dip Teaching Level 7 (ECE or Primary) and current Teacher Certification.
  • Good understanding of child-led curriculum, planning, and extending on children's learning.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the current ECE Regulations, Te Whariki, and hold compliance in a high regard.
