Your Key Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership to the PHC Programme, guiding its strategic direction and ensuring it aligns with national health priorities
  • Develop and maintain effective partnerships with Pacific health leaders, government agencies, and other key stakeholders to advance programmatic goals
  • Drive the implementation of innovative solutions to address health challenges in the Pacific region, focusing on themes like health security and non-communicable diseases
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration and inclusivity within the team, promoting open communication and shared ownership of program outcomes

Your Ideal Profile

  • Demonstrated track record of leading successful health development programs, preferably within the Pacific region
  • Strong background in strategic planning, program management, and team leadership, with expertise in navigating complex stakeholder environments
  • Expertise in health system strengthening, public health programming, and policy development within the Pacific context
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in engaging diverse stakeholders at different levels
  • A forward-thinking approach, with the capacity to adapt to evolving contexts and challenges
