Your Role: As a Senior Data Analyst and Strategist, you will play a critical part in driving the clean-up and migration of customer, account, and entitlement data from legacy systems to new systems. This includes analyzing subscription data in our current legacy systems, developing a data migration strategy, and planning the entitlement data migration into a new entitlement management system.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Analyze subscription data and develop a data migration strategy to migrate transactional subscription data from our Oracle ERP system into a new SalesForce instance.\
  • Plan the entitlement data migration into a new entitlement management system and provide recommendations for a successful migration process.\
  • Develop and implement data strategies to support business objectives and drive the creation of dashboards to generate stakeholder-defined insights.\
  • Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.\
  • Facilitate the clean-up and validation of data from legacy systems in preparation for the migration and uncover and resolve data incompatibility issues.\
  • Investigate enrichment opportunities, identify or develop tools to help with the migration, and validate the results after the migration.\
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and identify solutions, collaborate with IS and database administrators to optimize database performance and integrity, and establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures.\
  • Conduct regular data quality assessments and implement corrective actions as needed.\
  • Assist in other data review and clean-up activities across the team.\
  • Ensure new databases are set up to align with industry best practices.\
  • Communicate data findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.\
  • Demonstrate expertise in data management, strategic planning, and data analysis with projects involving data migration.\
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our business processes and data systems.\
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that meet those needs.\
  • Continuously improve data quality and ensure data integrity throughout all stages of the data lifecycle.\
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making and encourage collaboration across departments.\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.\
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to leverage data to drive business value.\
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and communicate effectively to ensure successful project outcomes.\
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members and contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment.\
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and stay current with industry best practices.\
  • Pursue certifications and advanced education in data management, analytics, or related fields.\\

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.\
  • Proven experience in data management, data migration, and database setup.\
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.\
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel, Tableau).\
  • Experience in DOMO, SalesForce, and Oracle.\
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.\
  • Excellent organizational skills.\
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.\
  • Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.\
  • Experience in subscription data and insights.\
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data storage solutions.\
  • Certification in data management or data analysis.\\
