New Zealand Blood and Organ Service (NZBS) is a leading provider of blood and tissue products to patients across New Zealand. Our staff are dedicated to making a difference and delivering exceptional service.

The Role

We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join our team as a Healthcare Professional for NZBS. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the collection of blood products and donor health education at our mobile and donor room collects. This is a permanent part-time opportunity, working shifts Monday to Friday, usually between 0700-2015, with the occasional Saturday.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the collection of blood products and donor health education
  • Work in small teams alongside Qualified Donor Technicians and Registered Nurses
  • Participate in professional development & advancement including a Nursing Council accredited PDRP programme
  • Undertake comprehensive training and orientation
