Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for troubleshooting automation and controls issues to ensure our plant runs efficiently, providing quality beverages for our consumers.
The successful candidate will also support the upskilling of other engineers in Siemens.
We are currently in an exciting period of growth and investing in significant upgrades at our site.
Key Responsibilities- Troubleshoot automation & controls issues affecting manufacturing performance or supply.
- Ensure minimum disruption and downtime to plant machinery by troubleshooting and fault fixing issues.
- Monitor and back up HMI's, PLC's and other configurable systems.
- Assist in developing standards that can be used to ensure industry best practices.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure changes are correctly communicated.
- A Bachelor's Degree such as Mechatronics, Computer Science or relevant work experience in automation and controls engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of Siemens automation - ideally 5 years of experience troubleshooting and fixing Siemens issues.
- Hands-on experience with Krones machinery.
- Understanding of principles of Machine Safety, Process Safety, and root cause analysis.
- Ability to make recommendations to continuously improve policies, methods, or procedures.
- Clear communication skills to connect with the team and key stakeholders.
