Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert orthopaedic surgery services, including spinal surgery, hand surgery, and complex joint replacement and revision surgery;
  • Participating in the on-call roster and contributing to the management of acute presentations;
  • Working closely with our team of seven orthopaedic specialists, medical officers, registrars, and house officers to deliver exceptional patient outcomes;
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures related to orthopaedic surgery;
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and reports.

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic surgeon who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and contributing to our team's success. To be eligible for this position, you must hold FRACS Orthopaedic or equivalent qualifications and be eligible for vocational registration in Orthopaedic Surgery with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
