About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to join our Finance team at Qjumpers Recruitment Services. This is a permanent full-time position that requires relocation to Tauranga.

The ideal candidate will have strong financial accounting and analysis skills, with a focus on process improvement and month-end processes. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for preparing timely and accurate internal and external financial statements for the wider group and associated companies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and distribution of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  • Group consolidations, acquisition accounting and reporting for holding entities
  • Preparation and filing of company taxation obligations
  • Assistance in preparation of annual operating and capital budgets

About You:

This role will suit a finance professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment in a collaborative team. The successful candidate will be confident, have good attention to detail, organisation skills, and be a team player.

Suitable candidates will have relevant experience in a similar role and possess the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in Finance
  • Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • Experience in financial services (desirable)
  • Strong financial accounting and analysis skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
