Actuarial Analytics Specialist

We are seeking an experienced or aspiring Actuarial Analyst to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. If you are looking for a challenging position where your analytical skills can drive innovation and contribute to business growth, we want to hear from you.
This role is key to delivering essential actuarial services that enhance the sustainability and profitability of our assurance business. As an analyst, you'll directly influence Chubb Life New Zealand's financial health and drive our success forward.
Collaborating with the Head of Pricing and Experience Investigations, you'll gain invaluable insights from senior leadership and the strategic decision-making processes that drive our organisation. This role offers an exciting blend of financial, strategic, and commercial support, allowing you to dive into a diverse array of responsibilities.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Contribute to and support the provision of actuarial advice in pricing and product decisions.
- Support the production of annual experience investigations and contribute to the best estimate assumption setting process.
- Support ad hoc requests from internal and external customers that require actuarial advice.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Streamline complex processes to minimise risks and implement best practices.
**Requirements**
- Up to 3 years of Actuarial experience.
- An understanding of actuarial processes and systems, ideally Prophet.
- The ability to think analytically and use rigorous logic and methods to solve mathematical and technology problems with effective solutions.
- Demonstrable experience in a results-oriented environment.
- Experience in computer programming or coding is advantageous.
