We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our Learning Support team as an Education Specialist.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Enhance inclusive practices in early learning services, schools, and other educational settings.
- Provide professional support and guidance to schools, teachers, and families to build their capacity for supporting student learning.
- Conduct specialist assessments and develop evidence-informed interventions to support students with additional learning needs.
- Work collaboratively as part of a trans-disciplinary team to address complex student needs.
- Participate in project work, individual casework, targeted group work, and universal systems-level work to promote positive outcomes for students.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master's level tertiary qualification in Educational Psychology or a related field.
- Registration under the Health Practitioners Competency Assurance Act and a current practicing certificate.
- The ability to translate specialist knowledge into practical information and coordinate service provision in a multi-agency setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including children, young people, and their families, teachers, and community agencies.
