Job Description
As an Emergency Department Nurse Practitioner, you will provide advanced clinical expertise and leadership to enhance patient treatment and care planning. You will work independently and collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to utilize advanced health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment implementation in adult and pediatric patients. Your role will involve reducing waiting times, ED length of stay, and increasing patient satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you must have a New Zealand Registered Nurse Practitioner qualification, current Annual Practising Certificate, recent clinical experience in emergency care, and knowledge about issues within nursing and acute care nursing. Additionally, you should have sound knowledge and understanding of medico-legal and ethical responsibilities.
