You will also be supporting individuals to develop skills for daily living, such as using public transport and managing money.


**Key Responsibilities**

Support individuals to grow their independence and learn skills for daily living.

Support individuals with their individual needs and daily activities, such as shopping and medical appointments.

Help individuals to pursue their interests and hobbies.

Drive IDEA vehicles to transport people to places in the community.

Support individuals to recognize and respond to emotional overwhelm and react safely.

Support individuals to plan and achieve their goals and make decisions and choices.

Maintain strong connections with whanau and community.

Help individuals stay healthy and make positive choices about their lifestyle.


**Requirements**

A calm nature and confidence to work with challenging behaviors.

Comfortable and proficient in using computers and tablets daily.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

A full NZ driver licence or ability to gain this within 6 months.
