Role Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a radiation therapist to join our team at Christchurch Hospital, one of the largest tertiary centers in the South Island. As a radiation therapist, you will play a key role in continuing our drive for constant improvement, providing exceptional care and delivery of service, and enjoying a varied and fast-paced environment. Our department has 4 Elekta linear accelerators, a Siemens 64-slice CT scanner, and Monaco treatment planning system, providing a range of radiation therapy services including VMAT, DCAT, SABR (lung), SRT Brain Metastases, deep inspiration breath hold, and IGRT modalities.
About the Department
Our radiation therapy department provides a full range of radiation therapy services, including brachytherapy and IGRT modalities. We have a strong departmental culture with a focus on providing excellence in patient care. We are committed to supporting ongoing clinical education and professional development, with regular training and workshops available to staff.
