Our multidisciplinary hospital setting offers a challenging and varied environment for Anaesthetic Technicians to grow and develop their careers. You will be supported to safely navigate all elements of growing and developing your practice within Perioperative Practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will work in various operating departments including Greenlane Surgical Unit, Starship Children's Hospital, 24-hour Women's Health operating rooms at Auckland Hospital, Adult Accident and Emergency operating department, and Cardiac and ORL operating department.

You will be part of a team providing patients with empathy and comfort as part of their care plan when they are at their most vulnerable. We offer an education fund as a support package to help further your education and practice, allowing you to shine and develop the growing presence of Anaesthesia within the Perioperative setting.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Tertiary Qualification (Anaesthetic Technology)
  • Registered Anaesthetic Technician with Medical Sciences Council NZ
  • Current annual practising certificate

This position is a Core Children's worker under the Children's Act & requires full safety checks completed before any new employee starts.
