Nurse Practitioner Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Wellington, Porirua, and Kapiti. As a valued member of our Multi-Disciplinary team, you will contribute to hospice clinical, educational, and service development activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with palliative care needs, including prescription of medications
  • Provide advanced clinical expertise, leadership, and support to the multidisciplinary team

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand in the Nurse Practitioner scope of practice
  • A Master's Degree or equivalent (with NZ recognised prescribing)
  • A post-graduate qualification in palliative care
  • Hold a current practicing certificate
