The role of Emergency Department Specialist is to provide specialist nursing care and expertise within the Emergency Department, as well as providing an outreach nursing service for Taupo Hospital's Inpatient Unit and Birthing Unit.
About the JobThis exciting opportunity has become available to work as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist/Outreach Nurse on the pathway to Nurse Practitioner to join our passionate and multi-disciplinary team at the Emergency Department in Taupo Hospital.
- Advanced nursing knowledge to conduct patient assessment, care and management.
- Clinical Leadership, able to undertake coaching and teaching.
We are looking for someone with recent hospital clinical practice – minimum of 3 years Emergency Department experience. The ideal candidate will have worked as an Emergency CNS and be working towards Nurse Practitioner Scope of practice.
