About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated project coordinator to join our development team at The Wellington Company. This role is vital in supporting the seamless planning, execution, and completion of construction projects.

Key Accountabilities:

  1. Support Project Managers: Provide support to project managers in developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  2. Monitor Progress: Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Liaise with Stakeholders: Liaise between project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to ensure effective collaboration.
  4. Coordinate Meetings: Coordinate project meetings and prepare progress reports.
  5. Manage Resources: Manage project resources, including personnel and equipment.
  6. Maintain Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and track expenses to budget.
  7. Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  8. Conduct Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections and address any project-related issues.
  9. Implement Solutions: Collaborate with project managers to implement solutions for project challenges.
  10. Identify Hazards: Identify and manage hazards and risks in line with Health and Safety policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience as a project coordinator in construction.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational and time management skills, proficient in project management software and Microsoft 365.
  • Personal Qualities: Attention to detail, strong communication and teamwork skills, proactive, innovative, and solution-focused, high integrity and trustworthiness, focus on adding value to stakeholders and ensuring project success.
