About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures, tutorials, and workshops in a classroom, clinical practice area, and simulation lab. You will also be involved in curriculum development, assessment, and quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the needs of students.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and assessments.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students on their academic progress.
  • Promote the values and practices of kaupapa Maori and te reo Maori in your teaching.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Registration as a New Zealand (NZ) Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate from the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
  • A minimum of 3 years post graduate nursing practice experience.
  • A qualification to master's level or a plan to work towards this.
  • An understanding or desire to learn te reo Maori, tikanga Maori, and the values and practices of kaupapa Maori.
  • Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments.
