The RoleYou will be working as part of our clinical community nursing program service, providing district nursing in the community. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and passionate Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality nursing services to people living in the community. This role involves working with our established team of Nurses, Coordinators, Support Workers, and other Allied Health professionals in the community.
Key Responsibilities- Palliative care, including syringe driver care
- Non-complex and complex wound care, including negative pressure therapy and compression bandaging
- Medication management and the methadone program
- Diabetes management
- Catheter and bowel care
- Tunnel drain care
- Cardio-pulmonary care
- Cardio-thoracic and chest trauma care post-surgery
- Passion for making a difference and improving the quality of life for people living in their own homes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- At least 1 year's experience as a Registered Nurse and current registration
- Restricted or Full Driver's License - must be able to drive around by yourself
