Housing Infrastructure Delivery

We are seeking a skilled Contracts Manager to deliver our housing infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction contracts for multiple residential development projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and adherence to project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage construction contracts for multiple residential development projects, prioritizing timely delivery, quality, and regulatory compliance.
  2. Direct the procurement and management of contractors, sub-contractors, and consultants, ensuring all work meets plans, specifications, and regulatory standards.
  3. Champion health and safety across all projects, maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to Health and Safety at Work Act regulations.
  4. Oversee financial aspects of each project, providing regular updates to senior management.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, local community groups, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements:

  1. Tertiary qualification in property, construction, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in residential construction contract management and project delivery.
  3. Strong knowledge of procurement, tendering, and residential construction practices.
  4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  5. New Zealand driver's license.
  6. Familiarity with NZGBC HomeStar & Healthy Homes standards.
  7. Experience with multi-unit residential construction and residential subdivision projects.
  8. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations.
