We are seeking a highly skilled Spa Therapist to join our team at Wai Ariki, a world-class spa and wellness facility in Rotorua. As a Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer care and skilled expertise in all guest encounters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Kaupapa Ngati Whakaue Maori principles, including manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, and aroha, which underpin the spa's unique 'point of difference' and authenticity.
Job DescriptionThis role involves delivering unrivalled customer care and skilled expertise in all guest encounters from treatment delivery and retail recommendations. The Spa Therapist is also responsible for maintaining clean and presentable working spaces, adhering to relevant spa health and safety guidelines, and ensuring the highest level of guest experience.
Key Accountabilities- Deliver all spa services and support the day-to-day operations in the Sanctuary Spa within guidelines provided
- Provide high standards of service delivery and presentation
- Maintain clean and presentable working spaces to 5-star standards
- Adhere to relevant spa health and safety guidelines
- Ensure the highest level of guest experience
One of the following qualifications or equivalent is required:
- New Zealand Certificate in Spa Therapy (Level 5)
- New Zealand Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage (Level 5)
