About the Role

As a Chef / Cook, you will play a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents by providing safe, appetizing meals that cater to their nutritional requirements. Your duties will be varied, active, and stimulating, involving significant personal interaction.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations while adhering to our Food Control Plan.">
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver first-class, nutritious experiences for our residents.">
  • Support the Attitude of Living Well approach by practicing 'Eating Well' and contributing to meeting internal gold standards.">

Qualifications and Skills

  • ">
  • Previous experience in a commercial kitchen and/or cafe environment.">
  • Exceptional cooking and baking skills.">
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities.">
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and ability to work well under pressure with good time management.">
  • Empathy towards older adults and strong interpersonal and customer service skills.">
  • Honesty, reliability, and integrity.">
  • A valid NZ Food Safety Certificate.">
  • Able to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.">
